Brise Soleil Louvre Systems
Fold flat against the wall. Open like wings.
Some windows need shade in the morning, sun in the afternoon, both within an hour. Folding brise soleil panels solve this with hinges: panels fold flat against the wall when not needed, swing outward to cover the glass when the sun arrives. The Tela Fold system uses bi-fold or tri-fold aluminium panels, 400-800 mm each, hinged on stainless steel pivots. Manual operation by hand, or 24V motor for synchronised operation across multi-window facades. Wind class 2 to EN 1991-1-4. Aluminium frame, fixed internal louvres, any RAL colour.
Use this product when solar control should become part of the facade architecture rather than a removable accessory.

These answers position folding brise-soleil shutters for facade openings that need compact stacking and adjustable shade.
A folding brise-soleil shutter is best used where the facade needs operable shading but the panels must stack compactly at the side of the opening.
Review brise-soleil →Check opening width, fold direction, stack depth, hinge and track positions, wind exposure, operation type and colour finish.
Check sun path →Sliding panels are usually better when the facade has enough horizontal track length and the panels should move parallel to the elevation.
Review sliding panels →Panels fold in pairs. A typical window opening uses 2–4 panels (1–2 folding pairs).
The blades within each panel are fixed at the optimal shading angle. Shading is controlled by folding the entire panel open or closed.
Yes. The system mounts to the facade with standard brackets — no structural modifications required.
