The PONARC Solar Carport integrates photovoltaic modules directly into the carport roof structure, turning vehicle shelter into a renewable energy generator. The aluminium frame is engineered with reinforced cross-beams to support the weight of solar panels (typically 20–25 kg/m²) alongside standard snow and wind loads. Standard configurations accommodate 8–16 PV modules (3.2–6.4 kWp) depending on carport size. The system is compatible with all standard crystalline silicon modules (60 or 72 cell). A pre-wired cable channel runs through the roof beams to the inverter mounting point on one of the columns, keeping all wiring concealed. The Solar Carport combines vehicle protection with clean energy production — generating 3,000–6,000 kWh per year in Central Europe, enough to power an electric vehicle for 15,000–30,000 km annually.
