The Luxa WG Cube is a fully freestanding flat-roof veranda system that stands independently on its own aluminium columns — no wall attachment needed. Place it anywhere in your garden, poolside, courtyard, or open terrace to create a covered outdoor living space entirely detached from your building. The Cube uses the same reinforced aluminium frame system, TIGER Coatings powder coat, and glass compatibility as the wall-mounted Luxa WG, but adds a rear structural beam supported by additional columns to replace the wall connection. This independence gives landscape designers and homeowners complete freedom in positioning — orient the Cube to capture the best views, follow the sun path, or create a destination space at the far end of the garden. The flat-roof design maintains a minimum 7% slope for reliable water drainage with a concealed gutter system through the hollow columns. Compatible with single glazing (tempered or laminated safety glass) and insulated double glazing for four-season comfort. Available in four-pillar and six-pillar configurations, covering areas up to 60 m². The 90° corner connection enables L-shaped, U-shaped, and courtyard-enclosing layouts. The Cube can be enclosed at any time with glass sliding walls, folding doors, or ZIP screens to create a freestanding glass pavilion or garden room.

The wall-mounted WG attaches to your building facade and uses the wall for rear structural support. The Cube is completely freestanding — it has its own rear beam on columns, requiring no wall at all. Both share the same frame system, glass options, accessories, and TIGER Coatings finish. Choose the Cube when: there is no suitable wall, the wall cannot bear the load, you want the veranda away from the house, or you want to avoid drilling into the facade.
Anywhere with a suitable foundation — garden centres, poolside, courtyards, open terraces, rooftop decks, event spaces, or any outdoor area detached from the building. The Cube is also ideal near the house when wall mounting is not possible due to insulation, cladding, or heritage restrictions.

Three options: tempered single glass (budget-friendly, summer use), laminated safety glass VSG 8mm (recommended standard), and insulated double glazing (best thermal performance for year-round enclosed use). Solar control and self-cleaning coatings available.
Extruded aluminium profiles with reinforced carrier sections. All surfaces finished with TIGER Coatings powder coat — UV-resistant, salt-spray tested, any RAL colour. Stainless steel fasteners. Aluminium is 98% recyclable.
Requirements vary by country. Freestanding structures are often classified differently from wall-mounted extensions. In Germany, many Bundesländer exempt freestanding structures under 30 m². In France, structures under 20 m² require a déclaration préalable. The freestanding nature may simplify permit requirements in some jurisdictions. Always consult your local authority.
Clean the aluminium frame 2–3 times per year with water and mild soap. Clean glass roof panels with a telescopic glass cleaner. Clear drainage channels before autumn. Inspect column base plates annually for level. The powder coat does not require repainting.
