Yes. The screen fabric filters natural daylight while blocking direct sun glare and outside visibility. Depending on the fabric openness factor (1%, 3%, 5%, or 10%), you control the balance between transparency and privacy. Darker fabrics provide better outward visibility; lighter fabrics offer more privacy.

Clean the fabric with lukewarm water and mild soap 2–3 times per year. Brush the aluminium guide channels to remove dust and debris. The motor is maintenance-free. The fabric can be replaced without removing the cassette housing. Do not use high-pressure washers on the fabric.

Yes. Connect a wind sensor and/or sun sensor to automatically retract the screen in high winds or deploy it when sun intensity exceeds a set threshold. Rain sensors can also trigger automatic retraction to protect the fabric.
